I am the School Social Worker at Palisades High School.
I conduct assessments of student and family needs and interpret this information for the purpose of developing individualized intervention plans for students.
I help provide counseling support, assistance, wraparound services, (both internally and externally) to students at-risk of dropping out of school.
I work with students who experience a traumatic or stressful change in life that may occur on a personal, family or societal level. As a SSW I assess student needs, their functioning and capacity to cope during a crisis, as well as provide emotional support to the student.
