Our Assistant Principal, Ms. Cherry

Welcome to the UPCA family! I look forward to partnering with you in your child's education. My name is Sharon Cherry. I am UPCA's assistant principal. The 2018-2019 school year will be my 21st year as a North Carolina public school educator. I began my teaching career in Cleveland County, North Carolina. I taught Smart Start and first, fifth and sixth grades. In 2006, I joined CMS. I began the school year teaching at East way Middle School and ended the school year as assistant principal of Park Road Montessori where I stayed until 2013. I spent the next year as assistant principal of Crestdale Middle School and then joined the UPCA family in 2014. UPCA is a wonderful place to call home!

Sharon Cherry, Assistant PrincipalLike you, I am a parent. I have a son, Carson (11) and a daughter, Chloe (7) as well as three amazing bonus children, Max (23), Alex (18) and Sarah (17). My family and my UPCA family keep me hopping! My life is very full thanks to all my babies- home and school!

If I can ever be of assistance to your family, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am ready to see all of our returning STARS as well as our new UPCA STARS.
