2021 Summer Resources

CMS provided Summer Instructional Resources for Students – Click Here

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is inviting you to take part and spread the word about our upcoming summer learning program, Summer Break: Read, Learn, Explore. The program runs June 7 to August 14, with pre-registration starting May 17. summerbreak.cmlibrary.org. All ages can participate.

Epic - During the summer, students will only have access to a limited selection of books on Epic for a total of 2 hours a week, and only accessible after 4 pm, AND even that limited access is only available if parent signs up with an email address. If students are in summer school and their teacher gives them a class code, they’ll have to use the class code option during the day and their parent-created account after 4. By comparison…Sora - Free access 24/7 all year, students don’t have to maintain a reliable wifi connection once they have downloaded a book, and they can continue to access it through Clever like they have all year.
