Due to school closures for COVID-19, South Charlotte Middle School is currently enrolling new students on-line ONLY. Please download the enrollment packet below, fill it out and submit along with proofs of address to Alison Roberts, Registrar by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are excited to welcome your family to South Charlotte! Summer registration hours are as follows:
Monday- 8:00am to 10:00am
Tuesday- 11:00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday- 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Thursday- By appointment only
The enrollment packets below contain information on what items to bring for registration. Please do not come to register without all of the items required for registration. If you are coming from another country to register, please register at the International Center before coming to South Charlotte Middle. See the International Center referral below.

**A new state law, requires each child entering public schools for the first time to submit proof of a health assessment to the school within 30 calendar days of the child's first day of attendance. The law applies to students enrolling in public schools for the first time beginning with the 2016-17 school year. The new required health assessment form is available here.

CMS requires that you now submit 2 proofs of Mecklenburg County residency when you are changing your address.
· Complete the Address Change Form.
Address changes cannot be made unless 2 proofs of residency are provided at time of request.
· All address changes must be completed in person.
· Please be advised that an address change may affect transportation.
A parent or legal guardian must complete the withdrawal form in person at South Charlotte Middle School. All textbooks, library books, and any other property of the school must be turned in to complete the withdrawal. The student will have teachers/librairian complete the withdrawal form by confirming all books have been returned and adding the student's grades. The student/family will receive a copy for their records and will receive a sealed copy to take to the new school. Please call the school to speak with the registrar if you have any questions.
