Ridge Road Middle School serves approximately 1280 sixth-eighth grade students in the Northeast Learning Community of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

History 
 
Ridge Road Middle School opened for the 2009-2010 school year.  Jametta Martin-Tanner serves as the school's first principal.  She began this role on March 1, 2009.
 

Location 
 
Ridge Road Middle School is located in the Highland Creek Neighborhood next to Highland Creek Elementary School.  The school is situated between Ridge Road and Highland Creek Parkway.
