Opportunities for Parent Engagement at Ranson IB

Helping your scholar realize the value of education is extremely important. Your partnership, engagement, and presence at Ranson IB is one way to show your love and encouragement. We hope to create an educational environment in which scholars are given the opportunity to reach their full potential, and the academic, social, and developmental needs of each scholar are met. We are looking for parent/ guardian volunteers to help us with this awesome task.

The scholars and I invite you to partner, engage, and become present at Ranson IB to volunteer your time and talents. We will value you as a volunteer, and appreciate your dedication to the scholars as a supportive aide, role model, and mentor. We know your time is at a premium, but we hope this invitation will empower you to explore new ways to partner, engage, and volunteer at Ranson IB. Please see specific opportunities below for you to partner and engage with Ranson IB. Thank you again for volunteering your time and talents! Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children.

PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association): Ranson IB parents and scholars are encouraged to join the PTSA. The membership dues are $8.00 for adults and teachers, and $4.00 for scholars. The membership proceeds will be used to support our scholars by purchasing supplies to supplement the educational program. There are also opportunities for parents to take on leadership roles within the PTSA and volunteer for the school. PTSA contact information is listed below. PTSA meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the media center.
