We are dedicated to meeting the interests and  educational needs of our students. We appreciate the value of literature, and we hope that our students' appreciation grows throughout their high school years and beyond. Our school library media center strives to provide a setting where all students are valued and respected. We also strive to assist students with developing the following information literacy skills needed as adults in an information and technology-rich world:

  • LOCATING information

  • ANALYZING information for scholarly research

  • EVALUATING information for relevancy

  • INTERPRETING information

  • COMMUNICATING information through the written or spoken word

Furthermore, our school library media center supports the American Library Association's belief of intellectual freedom which affirms the important and value of the freedom to read.
