 Pinewood  Families,
We are calling to provide you with information regarding the decision made by the CMS Board of Education and next steps for our school.  Last night, a decision was made to allow all Pre-K - 12th grade parents, including parents of students with disabilities, have the opportunity to request that their child participate in full remote academy or Plan A in-person instruction. For all students in grades K-12, Plan A in-person is four days per week in-person and one day remote. Our Extensions and Pre-k students will continue to attend 5 days a week.
If you are interested in changing your child's rotation from in-person to remote OR remote to in-person, please complete the Parent Change Request Form at  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc1IYQdPHR7LulZTY9oaJiaJ_sfXPBltrSLqNfpQ8TES4TFTg/viewform by Friday, March 26 at 5pm. The link will also be  posted on the school website.  A separate form must be completed to request a change for each child in a family. Be prepared to have your child's first and last name, student ID number, and grade level. The new attendance plan will begin Monday, April 12. If you do not complete the Parent Change Request your current placement will remain the same for the remainder of the school year.
