​Parkside Elementary school is nestled on the tree-lined

 Johnston Oehler Road. 

 

The name Parkside is in honor of the partnership between Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation.

 

The school shares a drive with Parks and Rec along with several acres of leveled land, baseball fields, community park, and covered picnic areas.​

 

 

School Hours - 8:15 AM – 3:15 PM

Arrival Time - the front doors open @ 7:45 AM

Dismissal by car, bus and van is @ 3:15 PM

 

 Free Breakfast is available to all students.

Upon arrival, if students wish to eat breakfast, they should report to the cafeteria

Breakfast ends @ 8:10 AM

 

Tardy Bell - First warning bell rings at 8:10 AM, students should be seated in class before 8:15 AM, or they will be marked Tardy for the day.

 

Car Rider Dismissal - please have your car tags displayed for pickup.

If you do not have a car tag, you will need to come into the office to get one and return to the car line to pick up your child.

 Children are not dismissed from the office.
