2 Hour Delay Information:


 Below you will find 2 hour delay information that is specific to

 Parkside Elementary School.

Morning Arrival begins @ 9:45 AM

Students should be in class @ 10:15 AM to avoid being marked tardy

 

 

 

 DEVICE INFORMATION  

 

In the event of inclement weather, your will bring their Chromebook and a charger home. 

These are brand new Chromebooks. Please use them ONLY for school work and handle them carefully. 

Please NOTE -  We do not have any extra charging cord. In the event, your student's charger is not returned to school, you will be charged $21 for a replacement charger. 

 

USING A CMS CHROMEBOOK @ HOME  

*There is ONE extra step when using a CMS Chromebook at home. 

This will sign your student on to our filtered network using Zscaler. 

To use a Chromebook at home...

  1. Sign in with your normal Google Username and Password
  2. Go to the CMS Bookmark folder and try to open a website.
  3. When the green box pops up, enter your entire CMS Email address again - StudentIDNumber@student.cms.k12.nc.us
