Digital Citizenship Vision for NWSA

Students at Northwest School of the Arts will become responsible digital citizens who know how to use the digital media in a 24/7 connected world, safely, effectively, ethically, and respectfully. To accomplish this goal, each year, students in grades 6-12 will receive 3+ hours of instruction, using resources from Common Sense Media, on how to become a responsible digital citizen in today’s world. (Adapted from Tippen Elementary)

Students have access to a grade level-specific course in Canvas for Digital Citizenship. These courses will be worked on during homeroom the first week of school, 2020-2021.
