Article about enrolling in magnet schools

Students enrolling in CMS need a physical and current immunization records.

If you are interested in attending Myers Park Traditional Elementary, we are a Traditional Magnet school.  Therefore, you must submit an application to the Family Application Center, located at 700 Marsh Rd.

Myers Park Traditional School's Traditional magnet experience for grades K-5 successfully blends both tradition and new innovation to prepare students for tomorrow. We invite you to learn more about one of Charlotte's oldest public magnet programs from our principal, teachers, and current parents at our upcoming Prospective Parent Open House event.

The tours for this year have been conducted, however for additional information about our Myers Park Traditional or to schedule a tour please contact the school's main office at (980) 343-5522.  Tours are typically scheduled every other Monday morning, however, we will try our best to accommodate all requests.  Please ensure that you bring proper ID and sign-in at the main office upon your arrival.
