IB at Marie G Davis

Primary Years Program (Grades K-5)

Marie G. Davis K-8 School was authorized as a Primary Years Program (PYP) in June 2019.  We are very excited about being apart of the IB World School family.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted.

Please visit Marie G Davis' IB Website for more information.

Middle Years Program (Grades 6-10)

Marie G Davis is currently going through authorization by the International Baccalaureate Organization and will hopefully be certified as an IB World School by the end of 2020.

IB MYP aims to develop active learners and internationally minded young people who can empathize with others and pursue lives of purpose and meaning.

The programme empowers students to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally and globally. The result is young people who are creative, critical and reflective thinkers. (ibo.org)

8th graders participate in a Community Project focused on collabortation and service learning. The students work hard throughout the year and we invite community members and parents to a showcase in May to highlight their hard work and dedication to their community project.

Please visit Marie G Davis' IB Website for more information.
