English Learner Services Virtual Family Nights

  • The Learning & Language Acquisition Department is excited to announce a series of virtual family night webinars being offered throughout the 2020-2021 school year. 
  • These webinars will focus on important topics relevant for families including access to digital platforms, key information for remote and in person learning, as well as available community resources to support English Learner students. T

download.pngSpectrum is offering free internet access to students in need.  Parents must call 1.833.267.6094 to request free internet access from Spectrum. Be sure to ask for the free internet for educational purposes to receive a username and password to access the internet.  Service is free for two months, after which families will be billed.

Charter Communications – Charter is partnering with school districts to ensure local communities are aware of its tools to help students learn remotely.  It has opened its WiFi Hotspots for public use. To enroll in the program, call 1-844-488-8395. Installation fees will be waived for new student households.

  • For tips on how to access the platforms and devices needed for remote learning, please refer to this document: Technology at JMA.
  • If your child need his or her Powerschool password reset OR his or her Google password reset, please email any of your child's teachers to request a reset. 
  • If you have issues accessing Canvas through NCedCloud, Canvas can also be accessed through cms.instructure.com or canvas.cmslearns.org. Once there, go to the Login Portal and log in with your Google account if the Powerschool password isn't working.
