Logging into Chromebook 

  1. Click Sign in with a different account

  2. Type studentid#  and click Next 

  3. Type password. (first time logging in type YYYYMMDD) Example: 2010 August 11 (20100811)

  4. Password Reset Requirements: 8 characters, at least one capital letter, lower case letters, and numbers.

  5. CMS Filtering (green window) type studentid@cms.k12.nc.us

  6. CMS Filtering (blue window) type studentid@cms.k12.nc.us and password: YYYYMMDD

Logging into Canvas on Chromebook

  1. Click on the top left CMS Bookmarks

  2. Canvas

  3. Click Login with NCEdCloud I AM

  4. Type studentid# and Go

  5. Type (first time logging in type YYYYMMDD).
