As we embark upon a new school year, there is excitement in the air surrounding the implementation of Hawthorne Academy.  The administration and staff will help to prepare our students to be more competitive in a global society through promoting an academy that is tailored to the health sciences field of study.  Students will have the opportunity to engage in rigorous academics and advanced instruction.  Our students will experience a learning environment that is competent, nurturing, and has knowledgeable staff.  By partnering with the National Academy Foundation (NAF) and North Carolina New Schools (NCNS), the students at Hawthorne Academy of Health Sciences will have career and work-based experiences to make them career and college ready upon graduation. 

Every student will be better prepared for the 21st century.  We believe that each and every student has the capacity and potential to experience Academic Excellence at Hawthorne Academy.    

Throughout the year we will provide our students with the opportunity to experience academic success, leadership development and character building. Through the collaborative efforts of the staff, parents, and community, you can be assured that your child will be a lifelong learner.
