Charlotte Mecklenburg Library is inviting you to take part and spread the word about our upcoming summer learning program, Summer Break: Read, Learn, Explore. The program runs June 7 to August 14, with pre-registration starting May 17.

It’s easy for students, staff, and families to get started:

  1. Sign up at summerbreak.cmlibrary.org. All ages can participate so be sure to enroll students, families, and staff.

       2. Track your reading time and activities online. Help us meet our community goal of reading 35 million                minutes by August 14.

  1. To earn virtual badges and prizes, read 15 hours and complete at least 1 activity in each of the five categories – write, create, play, explore and give. Just for signing up, participants will receive a coupon for a free Frosty Jr. from Wendy’s. For completing the challenge, babies and children will earn a popular book, teens will have the choice of a popular book or a doodle notebook, and adults will earn a colorful tote bag.
