Summer Reading Book Recommendations.pdf

Queridos padres,

Dear Parents,

Summer is a wonderful time for our students to practice the skills they have learned throughout the school year. Educators have identified summer learning loss as a major challenge when starting off the new school year. Therefore, Collinswood teachers have prepared a list of summer reading titles in both English and Spanish. Please note that titles that are bolded indicate that they are available online, with free access, using SORA. Summer reading will allow for your child to not only practice their individual skills as readers, but also participate in a shared reading experience upon entering the 2020-2021 school year. When students return, Collinswood has planned several events to kickstart our reading life as a bilingual and biliterate community. As you read over the summer, take a photo in your favorite spot or along your travels. Email photos to collinswoodla@gmail.com.
