In the event that the staff at Berewick Elementary needs to deliver information to our families in a timely manner, we would like to be able to reach parents electronically as well as through the Connect Ed phone system. We have an e-mail listserv at Berewick that allows us to send e-mail communications. Fortunately, the main use of our listserv is to send information on school-wide events, but we would use this system if we needed to get information delivered quickly. For example, if inclement weather forced an early dismissal from school we might send an eblast to our Berewick families and could reach parents at work and/or at home.
We also use the listserv to send out the Bobcat Beat, our monthly newsletter. In an effort to go green as well as saving money on paper and printing, we hope to eventually use the Berewick Listserv as our main form of school to family communication.
If you are not receiving eblasts through the Berewick listserv, you may join the group by following the link below. Parents will receive a message asking them to click on a link to confirm their addition to the list. This is to prevent someone from adding names without authorization. If you wish to unsubscribe from the list, you can also do so from this link.
