If Chromebooks need repair, please label them with the problem and your room number, and bring them to the Media Center. We have a Chromebook Repair tub that goes out on a regular basis.
The Special Area Team has lots of new energy and great ideas as we plan our Cultural Spotlights and events this year. Music, Art, Games, Stories… it’s all there!
The district-wide Northstar program is back on track and will begin in early October.
This year, 2nd graders will have the opportunity to meet weekly with Mentors from the community and enjoy exploring books and reading together.
Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books will be choosing their WP team for the 2018-2019 school year in the next month. (Readers,let your teachers know if you’re interested! It's big fun.)
5th grade readers will compete against 12 (or more!) elementary schools around the district at our competition in April.
A Book Club Reunion is set for late September, when our
former Book Club group will welcome this year’s new
4th grade Biography Book Club!
A Holiday Scholastic Book Fair is already scheduled for early December! Watch for more details closer to the event.
Don’t forget: students can use all of Charlotte’s public libraries simply by using their Student ID number at check-out.
Our public libraries are a great, free resource!
Gardens are happening! Ms. Harrell is partnering with Mrs. Lackey, and we’re preparing for a fall planting. Let one of us know if you’re interested in adopting a class garden!
