We invite all parents and students to join the PTSA

for the 2018- 2019 School Year. 

Vance PTSA was the only high school that received an award.  Our award was for "Collaborating with Communities".  We formed partnerships with Parkwood CME Church, Cici Pizza, community events, and Parent University. 

Support Vance students by joining the Vance PTSA

Adults $10 ($2.75 National PTSA, $1.25 NCPTSA)

 The remainder funds Vance PTSA
sponsored programs, activities and initiatives during the school Year

General membership meetings will occur three times a year.



Selects three $500.00 scholarships to be awarded to Vance Seniors.

Identifies and recognizes teachers and students on a quarterly basis who have exemplified good character and high achievement..


 Recruits parents and community members to assist with volunteer opportunities in the school and the community.

Vance High School PTSA Mission Statement


To support and advocate for students and families at Vance High School , in the community and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children.

To provide resources and information to Vance High School students and their families that will assist students to successfully complete high school and receive diplomas for either college or career.

To encourage parent and public involvement while providing support to Vance High School.
