EOG/EOC/NCFE Testing for 2017-2018

The SMS testing department’s mission is to develop and implement a sound testing

blueprint that will support our scholars in completing their end of grade assessments in

state approved conditions.

SMS TESTING DATES

Wednesday, May 23- Spanish 1 part 1 (Listening, Speaking)

Friday, May 25- Social Studies NCFE

Monday, May 28- Memorial Day (No School)

Tuesday, May 29- Spanish 1 part 2 (Reading/Writing) & Social Studies NCFE Make-up

Wednesday, May 30- Science NCFE

Thursday, May 31- Math EOG/ Math 1 EOC

Friday, June 1- ELA EOG

Monday, June 4- Science Make-up

June 5-June 8- Make-ups for all assessments

PROCTOR INFORMATION

WE NEED YOU!

All proctors will be entered into a gift card giveaway each day they successfully

proctor a session.  Testing will run from 9:30am – 2:00 pm.

All proctors will report to the office to check in at 9:00 am sharp and then report

to the media center to check in with Dr. Baptist. There you will be assigned a class to report to.

***Proctor trainings will be held on the following days in our Literacy Room:

Monday, May 21 12:00 -12:45 pm

Monday, May 21 2:00-2:45 pm

Tuesday, May 22 8:00-8:45 am

Tuesday May 22 12:00-12:45 pm

Tuesday May 22 2:00-2:45 pm

If you cannot attend one of these trainings, you will be trained

on the morning you arrive for proctoring.

Some proctoring tips to keep in mind:

·        You can bring a drink (school appropriate, of course) with you during the testing session.

·        No food

·        No electronics of any kind including laptops, Ipads, smart watches, etc.

·        Cell phones must be turned completely off and put away.

·        No book reading.  You must be monitoring at all times.

·        Consistently circulate around the room.
 You may take short breaks, but make sure that when you are down,
the testing administrator is up and moving.
