Reedy Creek Elementary makes efforts to provide our scholars with a high-quality, comprehensive education including a number of extracurricular opportunities. These opportunities include several on-campus clubs on Tuesday or Thursday at 3:00 - 5:00 PM after school for 3rd - 5th grades students.

These clubs offer our students that opportunity to learn and experience new things. This year, our clubs include:

Art/Yearbook Club – Ms. Owens
Day: Thursday
Location: Art Room

Students will work on independent and group art projects using various art media.  I will select students from art club to work on the Reedy Creek Yearbook.  Yearbook staff will be with me for the year.  All other art students will switch clubs at the end of the semester.

Chorus – Mr. King
Day: Thursday
Location: MC-103 (Music Room)

The Reedy Creek Chorus is for 4th – 5th graders. We will be learning songs to perform, with our biggest performance at the Charlotte Checkers game singing the National Anthem. We will be learning rhythms and more parts of the music alphabet, in addition to many. Anyone can join, both boys and girls, as long as they love music and singing. We have 2 concerts; one in the Winter, and one in the Spring, in addition to the Checkers game performance.

Dance Club – Ms. Butler
Day: Tuesday
Time: 3:30 - 5:00 PM
Location: Dance Room

During rehearsals, memebers work to increase technique, flexibility, strength, and showmanship. Dancers on the team promote school spirit as well as their love for the art of dance. Members of the team have the opportunity to participate in additional performances in school and in the Charlotte community.

Girls on the Run – The coaches are Coach Hoggard, Coach Dudley, and Coach Landson
Day: Tuesday's and Thursday's
Location: Gym

We inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. We envision a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly purse her dreams.

Leadership Club –   Mr. Felker
Day:  1st and 3rd Friday of the month
Grade 5th - 8:30 AM
Grade 4th - 9:30 AM
Location:  Multipurpose on stage

The fourth and fifth grade leadership club is a dedicated group of boys and girls who have a strong interest in promoting and advancing our school. In this club, we learn about what it takes to be a proactive leader and then put our knowledge and good intentions to work. They focus on areas of community service, such as food, clothing and toy drives. They promote school events through active advertising and effective communication. This culture of caring also extends to treating others with respect and supporting each other to the best of our abilities.
