Thank you for your patience and cooperation this past week with the
afternoon the car rider line. As students learn their car rider numbers,
the line will move faster.
If you do NOT have a car rider number and you plan for your child to be a
car rider this year, please pick one up from the car rider line.
Teachers will have them available for you as you pass through. Please do
not pull around the left side of the car in front
of you after you have finished loading or unloading. Some of our
students exit the vehicles on the left hand side and we want to make
sure we keep all students safe.
In the mornings, please pull forward as far as you are able. This will
allow multiple vehicles to unload at one time. Teachers and staff
members are outside to monitor
children as they exit vehicles. As soon as your child exits the vehicle,
please instruct him or her to move directly to the sidewalk.
One last reminder, students are not to be dropped off beside or behind
the school building. This is not allowed and is a safety issue.
Thank you for your help and cooperation to make car rider as smooth, safe, and as fast as possible.
Students may begin entering the building at 7:30 a.m. Please do
not drop your child off before then, as they will not be supervised. We
are extending the carpool line, so please pull your car up as far as it
can go. This will enable more students to exit cars in a timely manner.
Students will be dismissed at 3:00. Please pull up to the front
of the school to pick your child up. The first few weeks carpool takes a
bit longer than normal due to students learning new car rider numbers
and dismissal procedures. Please make sure you have your car rider
number displayed on your dash.
