Good evening Oakhurst STEAM families and staff,
This is Principal Blue with our reminders for the last week of school:
Monday, June 3rd- Field Day for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. 3rd grade will go outside from 10-11:30; 4th grade from 11:45-1:15; and 5th grade from 1:30-3:00 pm. Volunteers are still needed.
Tuesday, June 4th- Field Day for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade. 1st grade will go outside from 10:00- 11:30; 2nd grade from 11:45-1:15; and Kindergarten will go outside from 1:30-3:00 pm.
Students are encouraged to dress comfortably and wear closed toe shoes that can get wet! Students can also bring a change of clothing and a plastic bag for wet clothing.
WE STILL NEED TENTS, FROZEN ICEE POPS, BUBBLES, SPONGES, AND VOLUNTEERS. Thank you to those of you who have donated items already.
On Tuesday, June 4th- we will also host our VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION CELEBRATION- 3:00 PM in Media Center – All volunteers are invited to come and be recognized for donating your time to support our students and our school.
Wednesday, June 5th – Grade Level Award Programs- 1st grade at 9:30 am, 2nd grade at 11:00 am, 4th grade at 2:00 pm, and 3rd grade at 3:00pm- all will be held in the gym
Thursday, June 6th- Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony in the Gym at 10:30 am
Friday, June 7th- Last Day of School and 5th Grade Moving on Ceremony at 10:30 am
***Please make sure you have valid identification to enter the school. We must put safety first!
We currently have over 100 books checked out of our library. Please return these books as soon as possible to the media center.
