Greetings NAES Family!
I cannot believe it is almost the end of the 2014-2015 school year! We have had so many wonderful things going on here at NAES. The recent arts festival and International night were a great way for us to celebrate cultural heritage and student work in the arts as a school community!
As we continue through the school year, we are strongly encouraging our scholars to focus on academics and meeting school-wide expectations. Testing season is among us and we have already begun different components of end-of-year testing for students PreK-5. This includes MAP, Reading3D, common assessments, and EOG testing. Dates for EOGs are listed on the calendar section of the website on the homepage for NAES.
We encourage you to talk with your student about the importance of testing as we close out the school year. Please make sure that students are well rested and eat a healthy breakfast. If they are eating breakfast at school, please make sure that they arrive no later than 7:30 a.m. in the morning. It is especially important for students to focus during this last part of the year as we work to end the year as successful as possible and show all of the great learning that has been taking place throughout the school year.
If you are willing and able to serve as a proctor during EOG testing, we would greatly appreciate it! Please contact Garrett Nash at 980-343-5268 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your partnership with us. Go Cougars!
