Greetings NAES Family!
Happy Summer 2014! As I reflect on the 2013-2014 school year, we have a great deal to celebrate and be proud of as a school family! Our end-of-year assessment results indicate that students have grown throughout the year and continue to make gains in mastering the Common Core State Standards. We have also worked hard to build a positive, collaborative, and supportive school community for all stakeholders while continuing to improve on behalf of our students. We will use this assessment information as we work together to build our 2014-2015 School Improvement Plan.
I hope that each of you have a safe, happy, and wonderful summer! Be sure to keep students actively engaged in reading. The University City Public Library offers a great deal of free summer reading programs for students. See the link below for more information.
Please make sure that your student's contact information is updated in our system if any addresses or phone numbers change over the summer. This will help us ensure that we are able to communicate with you over the summer and provide the most accurate information for the opening of school in August.
Thank you for your partnership with us and enjoy the summer.
