 One Access

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Charlotte Mecklenburg Library are partnering to support students' ongoing education, to ensure that every CMS student will have access to books and resources found at their public library.  Starting September 1, 2015, all CMS students are now able to use their Student ID number to access and check out public library resources.  More information about his initiative, called ONE Access, can be found at the following website: One Access (Opens in new tab)

Mountain Island has been built on the belief that “all children can achieve” and in building this program we continue that spirit. Our mission is a school where parents are fully engaged, teachers are respected, supported and provided every access to professional development and where every child in our community has access to exciting, safe and innovative learning. We seek to be the Charlotte-Mecklenburg leader in this critical educational opportunity. To find out more about STEM at Mountain Island, visit our MILA STEM website.
