Congratulations to our "Global Leaders"

Our school has been awarded scholarships for deserving students to study abroad this summer!

The Global Navigator Scholarships give students access to summer study abroad programs offered by CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange in destinations around the world. Programs focus on Language & Culture, Service& Leadership and Global Discovery in fields such as marine ecology and global entrepreneurship. The goal is to prepare students to navigate across languages, connect with other cultures and develop global competencies for thriving in today's interconnected world. Congratulations!

Congratulations to our National Honor Society Inductees

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

5-8 Global Studies Program

A full Global Studies Program is offered at MGD for grades 5-8. MGD provides a challenging academic program that fosters the acquisition of global concepts. Because globalization has changed every career field path, every career field path needs graduates who understand globalization. Students in this program develop global competency knowledge and skills that help them cross disciplinary domains to comprehend global events and respond to them effectively.

Our students will obtain a strong foundation in global affairs, engage in problem-solving across boundaries, evaluate information from a comparative perspective, and communicate effectively to defend complex views before a variety of global audiences.

MGD is a uniform school

Please visit About our School tab to learn more information regarding our uniform requirements.
