Greetings Members and Future Members! Welcome to the 2017-2018 School year at Hawthorne!
The PTSA meeting schedule for the year is:
- Meet and Greet/State of PTSA and Election of Board Members--Tuesday, October 17th
- General Meeting--Tuesday, November 14th
- General Meeting--Tuesday, March 13th (2018)
- End of Year General Meeting--Tuesday, May 8th (2018)
The meetings will be held at the school from 6-7pm We are looking for board members so please reach out to me if you are interested!
By now you should have received a Sign-Up Genius request to assist with a fundraising opportunity this weekend (Saturday, September 23th & Sunday, September 24th). The invite is extended to you and your families. Please encourage your students to sign up. ALL proceeds go towards support of students, teachers and staff at Hawthorne. I will be supervising both days of this event. The link to sign up is:
Also, I will need a few volunteers to help organize an event on Saturday, September 30th.
There will be another Sign-Up Genius coming for NEXT Weekend, Saturday, September 30. We will host a concession booth at Marie G. Davis school gymnasium during the ROTC basketball tournament! We expect this to be a very successful event. I can assist with the logistics (the how's, the why's the items we will sell), but I cannot be at the event. I need a few folks to help out!
We are also working on some dates for Restaurant Sponsor nights, TBD.
