Dear Kennedy Middle School Community,

I am very excited and honored to be the Principal of Kennedy Middle School.  I promise that, together, we will support a strong school of academic excellence for the development of all Kennedy students.  My top priority is to provide your child with a quality education in a safe and orderly environment that prepares them to become well rounded and high achieving scholars.   

I have three core beliefs about middle grades education:

·         A structured teaching and learning environment is the most critical part to establishing positive school experiences for students, parents and staff

·         Student development and achievement is my primary purpose and everyone must be accountable for all students’ learning and growth at high levels

·         Creating developmentally appropriate opportunities for students to flourish within the classroom and throughout our global community

These beliefs guide my educational decisions and help me set a foundation on which to develop school improvement and school culture.  Combined with good communication, I have found these beliefs to be of value in supporting a child-centered learning environment.  I welcome your thoughts and ideas about making Kennedy the best school for our community, parents, teachers and most importantly, our students.
