Our instructional hours at Jay M. Robinson are 8:15-3:15. Students are in Homeroom from 7:45-8:10 in order to secure their Chromebooks and other necessary materials for their instructional day. Therefore, if your child arrives after 8:10 he/she is considered tardy.

When Your Child Leaves Something At Home
We understand that students occasionally leave items at home and that parents bring the forgotten items to school after the beginning of the instructional day. Our school policy is that we do not interrupt instructional time to deliver items. For that reason, we provide grade-level specific bins at our Welcome Desk located in the front lobby. Parents should label their child’s belongings and place them in the appropriate bin. If your child comes to the office looking for their items, we will direct them to their grade level bin. Students who have unclaimed items are called to the office at the end of the day.
