Who we are:

We are a group of parents, teachers and administration dedicated to improving and enhancing our students’ learning and social environment here at Huntingtowne Farms.

Our purpose:
Through community outreach and fundraising efforts, we are able to provide programs that enrich the lives of every student here at Huntingtowne Farms by purchasing reading materials for the classrooms and other items that help enrich our students’ learning experience. But, we’re more than just a fundraising organization. We are also volunteer parents who support our teachers and students.
We challenge our families to contribute their time, talent, and/or treasure so our students can excel academically. Parent involvement has been proven by three decades of research to be the greatest predictor of student success. Thus, we encourage every family to show your support and join the PTA. We also encourage our families to become PTA volunteers (please see enclosed volunteer sign-up sheet).

The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Association is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. But there are many more advantages. Here are just a few:
Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school.
Speak Up. Because PTA is a forum for exchanging ideas, you are encouraged to make suggestions and more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.
Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

To join the Huntingtowne Farms PTA:

  • Complete the attached envelope

(Be sure to include your first and last name, your child's first and last name and your child's teacher on the envelope, so we can ensure you receive your membership card.)

  • Enclose your membership fee of $5.00

(We accept cash, checks or money orders made payable to: Huntingtowne Farms PTA.)

  • Return the completed envelope and membership fee to your child's teacher.

You will continue to hear from your PTA throughout the year via newsletters, flyers and phone messages informing you of important dates/events.

And, don't forget to log onto our website at:

Thank you for your involvement – no amount of time devoted to our school goes unnoticed!
We look forward to meeting you this year.
