All after school activities will be cancelled if school closes or is dismissed early. If weather worsens in the late afternoon but school is dismissed at the regular time, principals will decide whether to cancel practices and activities. If a game or competition is scheduled, the home team's principal will make cancellation decisions.
Reminder: North Carolina law required schools be in session for a minimum of 180 days and 1,000 instructional hours. Each missed day must be made up. Make-up days for students and staff are built into the school calendar. Students are expected to attend school on those designated snow make-up days.
