PTA Reflections Winner Recongized-January 2018
Congratulations to Karsen Gresham for being recongized at the National PTA Reflections Award Ceremonyat the Department of Education in Washington, DC. Karsen received the National Award of Excellence in Dance Choreography for the 2016-17 PTA Reflections competition.
The Nationals winners in all five PTA categories will have their artwork and choreography on display through March. There was also a ribbon cutting ceremony for a permanent Art Exhibit.
Karsen was also selected to participate in a focus group with George Mason University on the benefits of the Reflections program.
Bradley Student Recongized at MLK Celebration- January 2018
Congratulations to 7th grader Logan Story who won 2nd place in the 2017-2018 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Art and Writing Contest in the Writing category! Logan has been invited to participate in the MLK Holiday Parade on January 13th and the MLK National Observance Ceremony on January 15th at CPCC.
Bradley Band Students Selected to All District Band- January 2018
Two Bradley students were selected to the All District Band. The All District Bands comprise the very best players from schools in a ten county region surrounding Charlotte. Over 700 middle school students auditioned for spots in the two middle school All District Bands!

Bradley Middle School Students Give Back- December 2017
Before winter break, students and staff at Bradley Middle worked hard to collect gloves for students, canned foods and pennies wars to raise money to provide gifts for families needing support this holiday season. (This information was shared in the North Learning Community Principal Newsletter).
Bradley Canned Food Drive- December 2017
The National Junior Honor Society at Francis Bradley Middle School in Huntersville, North Carolina held a can food drive during the month of December. We received an insane amount of food and able to donate it for use for kids at Bags of Hope. Over 900 items! Bags of Hope seeks to bring hope to the Lake Norman area by providing weekend food provisions to school children who experience food insecurity. Child sponsorship, donations of food and materials, and volunteer efforts have allowed us to serve dozens of children and their families since 2013.
Future Business Leaders of America Winners- December 2017
Bradley students had the opportunity to compete in the FBLA regional competition this past Saturday, December 1st.
We are proud to announce that we had 2 first place winners and 2 third place winners and two students received certificates for the open testing session because they were in the top 10. The students had a great time and it was a good experience for all that attended.

PTA Reflections Students Honored- Fall 2017
During the 2017-18 school year, hundreds of thousands of students reflected on a common theme "Within Reach" and created original works of art in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Students entered the national awards program through their school's PTA. Congratulations to the following students that were recognized as county level winners from our school:
