We need you for SLT!

The School Leadership Team is a collaborative ​effort whose primary purpose is to develop and implement our annual School Improvement Plan​ (SIP). ​This guiding document is continually reviewed and modified to ensure that our students have programming and resources in place to help them achieve to their greatest potential.  The primary areas that are discussed are:  curriculum, data, school safety, communication, and school climate.  It is a committee comprised of the Principal, staff members, parent volunteers, and community members.

SLT meetings are held one Wednesday per month at 5:00 PM and are held in our school's Media Center.  Devonshire is seeking parent volunteers to join our School Leadership Team.  If you would like to be considered as a member of our SLT team, please contact Erin Barie, Assistant Principal ate.alessi@cms.k12.nc.us, Ashley Gill, Dean of Students at ashleyi.gill@cms.k12.nc.us  or by phone at 980-343-6445.

El Equipo de Liderazgo Escolar es un esfuerzo de colaboración cuyo propósito principal es desarrollar e implementar nuestro Plan de Mejoramiento Escolar anual (SIP). Este documento guía se revisa y modifica continuamente para asegurar que nuestros estudiantes tengan programación y recursos en su lugar para ayudarlos a alcanzar su mayor potencial. Las áreas principales que se discuten son: currículo, datos, seguridad escolar, comunicación y clima escolar. Es un comité compuesto por el Director, miembros del personal, padres voluntarios y miembros de la comunidad.

Las reuniones de SLT se llevan a cabo un miércoles por mes a las 5:00 PM y se llevan a cabo en el centro de prensa de nuestra escuela. Devonshire está buscando padres voluntarios para unirse a nuestro Equipo de Liderazgo Escolar.
