“Coulwood STEM Academy provides a rigorous and relevant educational experience for every child.”
Each morning the faculty, staff, administration, and student body join together and repeat our mission statement as a tool to reinforce and remember why we gather each day. All great and successful institutions start with a plan, a roadmap of where we are and where we are going. Our roadmap is the School Improvement Plan (SIP).
The School Improvement Plan is a living document specific to the needs of Coulwood STEM Academy. Every school is not the same so a generic district wide plan is not enough to ensure the success of our students, staff, and community. The SIP can change as we achieve our incremental goals and as we identify more areas of opportunity and positive change. The School Improvement Plan is created by the School Leadership Team (SLT).
The School Leadership Team is comprised of representatives from all of the stakeholders of the Coulwood Middle School Community; administration, faculty, support staff, parents, and community partners. The SLT is led by Dr. Janet L. Moss, Principal. The other members of the School Leadership Team are:
- Dr. Janet L Moss, Principal
- Anna Moraglia, Assistant Principal
- Jacqueline Sherrod- Electives
- Danielle DeVizia-Whittle, ELA
- Barbetta Collareta, Math
- Kathryn Claflin, Science
