What is the School Leadership Team?
The School Leadership Team (SLT) encourages, supports and creates opportunities for parents to get involved with their children’s school. The SLT is composed of school administrators, teachers and parents. The SLT develops the School Improvement Plan (SIP) which is the unique plan that focuses the school on its’ strengths, challenges, goals, and plan of action. The SLT meets monthly to report progress towards established yearly goals.
What does the SLT do?
The SLT facilitates the involvement of the school community in the development of the School Improvement Plan. The team also monitors the effectiveness of the School Improvement Plan strategies.
Why should I get involved with the SLT?
Becoming a member of the SLT is a wonderful way to participate in your child’s education. Several research studies have proven that parent involvement is directly linked to student success. Join the SLT at Bruns Academy and help shape your child’s educational experience.
