Girls on the Run Celebrate Coach Reynolds and Coach Lee!

Our SUPERSTARS of the Week are Ashley Reynolds and Jennifer Lee! These coaches deserve an energy award for all of the wonderful things they accomplish at Briarwood Academy!
They truly represent the values and goals of Girls on the Run on a daily basis.  Both Coach Lee and Coach Reynolds are full of joy, extremely optimistic, and promote healthy habits physically, mentally and spiritually.
Please take a moment to meet Ashley and Jennifer, below:

1.     Why do you love Girls on the Run?

Coach Reynolds: I love GOTR because it provides girls with an environment to feel comfortable with themselves, be supported by teammates, and be active. The program instills the girls with a sense of pride and an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment when they cross the finish line of the 5k!

Coach Lee: I love Girls on the Run because it empowers our girls to be proud of who they are. I can see the positive impact in their attitudes about themselves. It helps them gain self-confidence and self-respect while being part of a team. I also love how they are able to collaborate and support each other during practices.

2.     How long have you been volunteering/supporting GOTR?

Coach Reynolds: I have been a coach for two seasons at Briarwood and have loved sharing this awesome opportunity with our girls!

Coach Lee: I have been a coach for two seasons now at Briarwood Elementary.

3.     What do you like to do in your free time?

Coach Reynolds: I love working out, trying new restaurants, spending time with family and friends, and traveling!

Coach Lee: I enjoy cooking/baking, reading, and visiting new places.

4.     How do you remind yourself to stay plugged into the positive cord, or how do you remember to focus on your "Star Power" when you're having a cloudy day?

Coach Reynolds: With the help of GOTR girls in my class I am able to stay plugged in and positive. We help one another everyday!

Coach Lee: I remind myself to stay positive and focus on my "Star Power" by thinking about how far some of our girls have come, and using them as an inspiration!

THANK YOU Coach Reynolds and Coach Lee for being AMAZING SUPERSTARS!
