OUR 3RD GRADERS ROCK IT OUT AT THIS YEAR'S MATHAPALOOZA:

Barnette had 11 students represent our school at Mathapalooza 2017.  Students competed in Team Problem Solving, Individual Problem Solving, Team Building and Team Exploration.  Our winners included A. Blick - 3rd place for Individual Problem Solving, Team B (A. Baker, D. Anderson, O. Ritter and A. Brown) won 3rd place for Team Building and Team C (Y. Martinez, D. Sarley, A. Magee) won 4th place for Team Exploration.

We are so proud of our students!

BUSTER'S GIVING TREE:

Thanks to all who made our holiday gifting program the past December such an amazing success for those less fortunate in our community!  Your generosity brightened the holidays for families in our school as well as our sister school, Druid Hills Elementary.

YOUR STAFF "BELIEVES" AGAIN:

March is our annual Cancer Awareness Month here at Barnette. Each year, we raise money to support the American Cancer Society. This year, our staff will be running a 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run to support and honor our family and loved ones who have been affected by this terrible disease.

Come out and show your support as our staff completes the race on March 15th@ 3:15pm! We would love to have parents and students cheer us on with signs and support! Stay tuned for the Sign Up Genius for volunteers to help keep our runners and walkers hydrated during the race!
