Student Guidance Services

Please visit for more information about the AG Counseling Department.

The purpose of the Guidance Department is to provide a support system to help each student reach his or her academic and personal potential.  Grade level counselors work in conjunction with grade level administrators to assist students who are having difficulties or need extra support.

The middle school counseling program is tailored to the developmental needs of adolescent students. The emphasis of the program is on school adjustment, self-worth, social skills, and academic progress.  Counselors address these issues through individual counseling, small groups, and classroom guidance.

AG students are encouraged to visit the counselor's office for academic planning, social concerns, career planning, and testing information.

Please contact the grade level counselor if you have any questions:

Dannielle J. Blount - - 6th Grade

Susan Billmire - - 7th Grade

Neisha Dawson - 8th Grade

Laura Morris - - Counselor

SCHEDULE CHANGE: Second-semester elective change requests must go through the grade level counselor. Please contact the above person as soon as possible.
